Han is a commercial legal practitioner with a strong passion and focus on the law relating to Web3 and Digital Assets. Han provides legal advice on issues related to blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies and smart contracts.
Han completed a Juris Doctor (JD) at the Faculty of Law of the University of Western Australia in 2017 and brings to Robertson Hayles Lawyers more than 25 years of experience in the technology and corporate sector. He previously held roles as a systems engineer, business analyst, management consultant, corporate director and start-up entrepreneur. Prior to commencing his legal career, Han completed a Bachelor of Computer and Mathematical Sciences from the University of Western Australia.
With his strong technological background and a passion to continually deepen his knowledge in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, Han is uniquely placed to provide legal advice in these areas that is comprehensive, practical and up to-date.
Han also regularly provides advice on property and business acquisitions and investment and shareholding issues.
In addition to commercial law, Han has been advising clients on migration law since 2014 when he commenced practice as a registered migration agent. Today, Han continues to represent individuals and businesses in all aspects of the migration process including preparing applications for skilled, family, investment and business visas to the Australian Government and where required, appeals to the Federal Court. Han holds a Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practices from The Australian National University.
Han has worked and lived in Beijing, Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur prior to calling Perth his home.
He speaks and writes fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
